More about the project

• The building is modular and transportable; designed to be moved to a new site after its time in the Wynyard Quarter. The plans and strategy behind it will be open-sourced, creating a sustainable construction solution that can benefit communities globally.
• This centre will help people look after waterways and coastlines by significantly increasing Sustainable Coastlines’ ability to deliver large-scale training and education.
• Visitors will be invited to explore the good, the bad and the ugly about our coastlines and waterways in this unique and beautiful building through engaging, family-friendly displays, interactive technologies, and multimedia content.
