Te Uru Taumata – Scooping all the Awards!
Te Uru Taumata – otherwise known as the Tuhoe Building, has recently scooped up more awards.
The building, featuring Stratos+ Cladding, and Sand Decking has won both the “Resene Green Building” and the “Warren and Mahoney Special Purpose Property” categories at the recent Property New Zealand Awards.
Te Uru Taumata sets a precedent for green construction in New Zealand – we are proud to have supplied the exterior timber weatherboards, cladding and decking for this project.
Not only is Te Uru Taumata a real showcase for New Zealand – it is also a showcase for healthy, renewable, New Zealand wood. Our congratulations to Arrow International – the builder and Jasmax – the architect.

Built on Feedback: The New 75mm Cladding Screw is Coming
Responding to customer demand for greater fixing depth, builders will get an extra 10mm where they need it most. Replacing the 65mm, the new 75mm Cladding Screw is arriving in September 2026.
