Possessing Architectural Design and Licensed Building Practitioner qualifications has helped Bevan in his role at Abodo since 2020. Alison brings more than 30 years of experience across architecture, building, joinery, and design‑led sales. With a strong background in kitchen design and account management, Alison has also held leadership roles on the New Zealand Kitchen & Bathroom Association board and as Wellington Chapter Chair for the National Association of Women in Construction. Honest and deeply customer‑focused, she is passionate about sustainable timber and takes pride in representing products she genuinely believes in, while championing good design at every scale.
Suzy brings more than 25 years of experience in New Zealand’s timber industry. Beginning her career at a time when few women worked in the sector, Suzy built strong technical and commercial expertise through senior roles at Carter Holt Harvey before joining Abodo in 2017. Known for her practical knowledge and extensive industry relationships, she works closely with builders, architects, merchants, and homeowners, championing thermally modified timber and Abodo’s commitment to durable, sustainable materials.
