Massive end of line auction - 335 lots of over $500,000 worth of Abodo timber must go on 6 June 2026. No reserve on 25% of timber packets - cladding, screening, panelling and decking. Bid online or on-site.

Where: 62 Ascot Road, Mangere, Auckland 2022 (Abodo Head Office) and online

Viewing: Friday 5 June 1.00pm – 4.00pm and Saturday 6 June 8.30am – 10.00am

Auction: Saturday 6 June – starts 10.00am

Pick up: Saturday 6 June after auction – 5:30pm and Sunday 7 June 8am – 4pm, with payment made before collection. Alternative pick up times can be arranged.

We do not have capacity for storage; all items must be removed from the premises.

  • We have a forklift on-site and our team will load your pallet(s) onto your vehicle for you.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you bring a vehicle or trailer capable of safely transporting your timber.
  • We do not provide shipping or delivery services for any purchased timber.

Whether you are looking for architectural profiles for a small feature project build, or standard grades for general decking and weekend DIY projects, there is a packet here for you. All stock is ready for immediate collection over the weekend of 6-7 June.

How the Auction Works

We have partnered with Alastair Beer Auctions to make the bidding process straightforward. Their team will be managing all administration, payments, and release documentation.

Bidding options

  • Register: You can register to bid via the Alastair Beer Auctions website or in person at our Mangere warehouse on the day of the auction (before 10:00 AM).
  • Participate: Bid either online or join us on-site. The auction is live 10am Saturday 6 June.

Preparation and process

  • Be prepared: We strongly recommend previewing the catalogue online ahead of time so you know exactly which packets you intend to bid on.
  • Winning a bid: Once the hammer falls and you have won a packet, Alastair’s team will assist you with the payment and release documentation, and coordinate your collection.

Yes, you can view the full catalogue and photos of the packets right now on the Alastair Beer Auctions. We are also hosting an open viewing session on Friday 5 June, 1pm – 4pm. This is on-site at 62 Ascot Road, Mangere, Auckland 2022.

How do I bid?

You can register and place your bids online via the Alastair Beer Auctions website. Alternatively, you can register in person on Saturday morning before on-site bidding commences.

What should I bid on?

Stock is sold by the packet. We recommend reviewing the online catalogue closely to bid on packet sizes that best fit your project footprint.

Will there be help on the day?

Yes, Abodo staff will be on-site during the viewing and auction to help discuss specific pallets and answer technical product questions.

Do you offer shipping or delivery?

No delivery or freight services are available for this auction; all buyers must arrange their own transportation for collection.

The auction is conducted with a 10% buyers premium and all bids are GST exclusive.
