In a recent Centralized National Risk Assessment (CRNA) of NZ’s forestry industry, NZ forests were classified as low risk

A CRNA is a assessment of the risk of sourcing wood material from unacceptable sources in a given country, developed according to PSU-PRO-10-002 V1-0 EN The Development and Approval of FSC Centralized National Risk Assessments.

Some countries, such as Brazil have been assessed under the NRA framework and have certain concerns – Brazil’s NRA assessment can be found here.
